Reading the Bible this morning I read the saddest words I've read:
But with loud shouts they insistently demanded that he be crucified, and their shouts prevailed. (Luke-Acts 23:23 BOOKS)
It was a complete collapse of leadership. Pilate found no reason for the execution of the man. But public opinion won over. Pilate instantly turned from leader to follower.
The man died later that day.
You and I are leaders. Will this verse also be written into our stories?
